PostHeaderIcon Dock Jumping

Dock jumping is often characterized as the long jump for dogs but instead of jumping into a sand pit, these canine athletes race down a 40’ dock and jump into a pool.  The distance of the jump is measured from the end of the dock to where the base of the dog’s tail breaks the water.

This exciting sport includes three things that many of the canine competitors of RF Revolution can’t seem to get enough of:  retrieving, swimming and having a great time with their people.  The team competes throughout Northern Nevada and Northern California throughout the spring and summer months with dogs ranging in size from a 12 lb Parson/Jack Russell Terrier to a 75 lbs Labrador Retriever.
