Dog Sport Classes

Group classes start and end on a specific date and are limited to 5 dogs per class (3 for Control Unleashed). Drop In classes allow you the flexibility to pick and choose when you come to class. Pre-registration for all classes is required. You may register, cancel or reschedule drop in classes up to 48 hours prior to the start time. Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.

Weekend Workshops

Our weekend workshops offer focused training opportunities on select weekends, covering a variety of skills and activities to help you and your dog grow together. These special sessions provide in-depth instruction in a small group setting, allowing for personalized coaching and hands-on practice. Spaces are limited, and pre-registration is required, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune existing skills or try something new, our weekend workshops are a great way to elevate your training!

Our Beginning Barn Hunt workshop is ideal for teams new to the sport or those already competing in Novice and Open. This class focuses on helping handlers understand the rules, develop effective handling strategies, and build their dog’s scenting confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Advanced Barn Hunt

Our Advanced Barn Hunt class is designed for experienced teams looking to refine their skills. This class focuses on improving distance handling, tackling challenging scent puzzles, and enhancing teamwork for higher-level competition.  This session is appropriate for teams competing at the Senior / Master level.

Earthdog Training

Does your dog go wild for rats? Are they small enough to fit through a 9” x 9” tunnel? Then this workshop is for you!

Join us for a fun and engaging indoor Earthdog workshop designed for any dog who loves the thrill of the hunt—no matter the breed! Whether you’re curious about Earthdog for the first time or want to sharpen your seasoned hunter’s skills, this workshop provides a safe, confidence-building introduction to underground work in an indoor environment.

Canine Pentathlon: Dog Sport Try Its

May 18 at 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM  — SOLD OUT!

The Canine Pentathlon is a fast-paced, three-hour workshop where teams get to try five exciting dog sports: Rat Sports (Barn Hunt & Urban Locating), Parkour, Rally Obedience, Agility, and Scent Work plus learn some fun tricks along th way. Designed in a circuit-style format, small groups rotate through each sport, making it a fun, engaging, and supportive experience for all skill levels. Whether you’re exploring new activities or sharpening existing skills, this event is a great way to see what your dog loves! AKC Canine Good Citizen & Trick Dog Testing is available too!

Lost Item Recovery: Skill Building

March 8 at 2:30 PM

This session is designed to strengthen your dog’s odor obedience to the target scent, improve discrimination between target items and distractions, and tackle more challenging hide placements, including elevated and inaccessible hides. Each session includes multiple hide searches to build confidence and reliability.

Prerequisite: Dogs should have a basic understanding of finding handler odor to participate.

Control Unleashed Workshop

Are you or your dog new to the sport of Barn Hunt, Urban Locating, Trailing & Locating and other rat scenting sports? Go beyond learning the basics in this four week class which introduces dogs to the quarry, develops seeking skills while building confidence and motivation. This class is open to dogs four months old and older. Dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes are welcome.

Quarry Quest: Multi Sport Class

This unique class offers flexible, tailored training for you and your dog across multiple scent and quarry sports. Whether you’re fine-tuning skills, building confidence, or just having fun, this format keeps learning fresh and exciting while giving your dog the variety they crave.

Our Rally Obedience class is designed for teams focusing on AKC Advanced, Excellent, and Master levels, offering in-depth training to refine your skills and master complex courses. This supportive environment is perfect for improving precision, teamwork, and confidence as you prepare for higher-level competition.

Urban Locating League is like a bowling league—but with your dog! đŸŸ Each week, teams tackle exciting NASDA Urban Locating and Urban Challenge Games courses, with the judge presenting new challenges to test your dog’s skills.  To help our teams compete, practice and train at their best, the format for each week will be a surprise each week! Compete for weekly prizes, and the top teams will earn Bark Bucks!  Arrive by 5:15 for the first round.

Our Lost Item Recovery Class at Revolution Dog Sports is the perfect introduction for dogs new to the exciting NASDA sport of lost item recovery. This class focuses on teaching foundational search and scenting skills in a fun, supportive environment, helping dogs develop confidence and problem-solving abilities. Whether your dog is a curious beginner or simply enjoys using their nose, this class is a fantastic way to explore their natural talents!
