Dog Sport Classes
Group classes start and end on a specific date and are limited to 4 dogs per class (4 for Control Unleashed). Drop In classes allow you the flexibility to pick and choose when you come to class. Pre-registration for all classes is required. You may register, cancel or reschedule drop in classes up to 48 hours prior to the start time. Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.

Weekend Workshops
Our weekend workshops offer focused training opportunities on select weekends, covering a variety of skills and activities to help you and your dog grow together. These special sessions provide in-depth instruction in a small group setting, allowing for personalized coaching and hands-on practice. Spaces are limited, and pre-registration is required, so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune existing skills or try something new, our weekend workshops are a great way to elevate your training!

Beginning Barn Hunt
March 8, March 22, April 19 at 10 AM and 1 PM
Our Beginning Barn Hunt workshop is ideal for teams new to the sport or those already competing in Novice and Open. This class focuses on helping handlers understand the rules, develop effective handling strategies, and build their dog’s scenting confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Advanced Barn Hunt

Our Advanced Barn Hunt class is designed for experienced teams looking to refine their skills. This class focuses on improving distance handling, tackling challenging scent puzzles, and enhancing teamwork for higher-level competition. This session is appropriate for teams competing at the Senior / Master level.

Urban Locating: Making the Call
April 19 at 2:30 PM
Trust your dog, read the signs, and make the call with confidence! This class focuses on recognizing changes in behavior and learning to trust your dog’s skills in urban locating scenarios. Designed for all skill levels, we emphasize the critical skills needed for teams preparing for the NASDA Regional and Invitational. Through real-world search challenges, handlers will refine their ability to interpret subtle cues, strengthen teamwork, maintain obedience to odor and develop the confidence to make the call when it matters most.

Canine Pentathlon: Dog Sport Try Its
April 20 at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The Canine Pentathlon is a fast-paced, three-hour workshop where teams get to try five exciting dog sports: Rat Sports (Barn Hunt & Urban Locating), Parkour, Rally Obedience, Agility, and Scent Work plus learn some fun tricks along th way. Designed in a circuit-style format, small groups rotate through each sport, making it a fun, engaging, and supportive experience for all skill levels. Whether you’re exploring new activities or sharpening existing skills, this event is a great way to see what your dog loves! AKC Canine Good Citizen & Trick Dog Testing is available too!

Lost Item Recovery: Skill Building
March 8 at 2:30 PM
This session is designed to strengthen your dog’s odor obedience to the target scent, improve discrimination between target items and distractions, and tackle more challenging hide placements, including elevated and inaccessible hides. Each session includes multiple hide searches to build confidence and reliability.
Prerequisite: Dogs should have a basic understanding of finding handler odor to participate.

Control Unleashed Workshop

Group Classes
Our multi-week group classes are designed to help you and your dog build skills progressively over time in a structured and supportive environment. With a limited class size, each team receives individualized attention while benefiting from the motivation and learning opportunities of a group setting. Classes focus on developing strong foundations, improving communication, and advancing skills step by step. Whether you’re starting fresh or refining existing abilities, our group classes provide the consistency and guidance needed for long-term success.
Intro to Rat Sports
Spring Session 1 – 5:30 PM: 04/01, 04/08, 04/22, 04/29
Are you or your dog new to the sport of Barn Hunt, Urban Locating, Trailing & Locating and other rat scenting sports? Go beyond learning the basics in this four week class which introduces dogs to the quarry, develops seeking skills while building confidence and motivation. This class is open to dogs four months old and older. Dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes are welcome.
AKC Fit Dog 1

Build your dog’s strength, balance, and endurance in our AKC Fit Dog Level 1 class! This fun, low-impact program focuses on safe conditioning exercises to improve your dog’s overall fitness, body awareness, and confidence. Perfect for dogs of all ages and activity levels, this class helps prevent injuries while keeping your pup active and engaged.
Intro to Scent Work

Urban League

Urban Locating League is like a bowling league—but with your dog! 🐾 Each week, teams tackle exciting NASDA Urban Locating and Urban Challenge Games courses, with the judge presenting new challenges to test your dog’s skills. To help our teams compete, practice and train at their best, the format for each week will be a surprise each week! Compete for weekly prizes, and the top teams will earn Bark Bucks! Arrive by 5:15 for the first round.

Our Lost Item Recovery Class at Revolution Dog Sports is the perfect introduction for dogs new to the exciting NASDA sport of lost item recovery.
